Angie,
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes! They really make you think about children and how they fit into our world. We hurry them along through their life and want them to grow and be independent but then we regret not spending enough time cherishing them when they are small! Children are a gift that we need to value-for who they are today. I love the reminders because I forget....everyday :)
I have really enjoyed posting with you. I appreciate all your insightful comments, discussions, and postings. Much success as you continue your educational journey! I also wish you and your family a very happy holiday season! I hope you take time to relax and enjoy a little time off from school.
Angie-
ReplyDeleteWonderful quotes! Children are so fragile. I have learned many valuable lessons from my students as well as my own children. Thank you for all of your thought provoking discussion pieces. Take care and best of luck in your future studies. :)

ReplyDeleteHey Angie I loved the quotes you posted.I spend as much time as possible with my two kids between work and homework because time is the most precious thing you can give to your child.I want to thank you for the wonderful discussion that we have shared these eight weeks and the great blogs that you have posted. Good luck with your upcoming course in January.
ReplyDeleteI love all three of your quotes. I was going to use the one about children teaching us about life but I found another that caught my attention. I think children do teach us while we are teaching them. We just have to be able to see it and accept it. Thank you for having a wonderful blog site. Good luck with your upcoming courses and have a happy holiday.
ReplyDeleteHi Angie,
ReplyDeleteI like all of your quotes but, my favorite is the one that you have listed first. Stacia is on target with her thoughts about the future of our children. I feel that if we nurture who they are now, a successful future is inevitable.
Note of Thanks
Angie, I have enjoyed learning via all of your post. You are an asset to the "society of educators". And an inspiration to me and my hopes of continuing my quest to become a true educator. I wish you many blessings for all of your future endeavors.
Angie, I especially like your first quote. i agree it's important to slow down and treasure the moments as the arise instead of looking to the future all the time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts... best of luck, I'm sure we will work along side eachother again.
